Your HOA has partnered with C&T Lawn Services for individual purchasing of the same tulips, daffodils, and amaryllis flowers that will be planted in our neighborhood entrances. The proceeds from the sale will benefit the HOA Social Committee and enable us to do more fun events for the neighborhood. Please see the documents for the details of the sale, which will end on November 5, 2021. This is a great opportunity for you to add beautiful colors to your landscaping and benefit the neighborhood as well. Our Curb Appeal Committee will be watching for these flowers to show up in the spring, and you might win a prize for the “Yard of the Month” for best colors! In 2012, an inspection of the wall revealed a lot of damage and that the wall needed a lot of work to repair that damage. No maintenance or repair work had been done on the wall since it was built. The original engineering estimate was that it would cost over one million dollars to do all the repair or rebuilding of the entire wall along Pool Road and Hall Johnson. The HMHOA Board of Directors decided to prioritize the repairs starting with the section in the worst shape. It was also decided to do the work on a pay as you go basis, only do what could be afforded out of the current year budget, and only do the necessary repairs to save money. In other words, it would be a multiyear effort with no special assessments levied for wall repair.
The wall sections are numbers. Sections 1 through 4 are along Pool Road. Sections 5 through 8 are along Hall Johnson Road.

The HOA Board is aware and fully understands the need for homeowners to have PODS or similar storage containers placed on their property to temporarily store personal items during major reconstruction projects. The HOA Board has a simple procedure in place so that you may receive HOA authorization, and avoid violation fines, to have the POD in an area on your property visible from the street. Community Waste Disposal (CWD), the city's trash and recycle provider, is canceling all service this week and will resume on Monday, February 22. CWD drivers are reporting that significant portions of the city are unserviceable due to ice and the number of parked cars in the streets. We appreciate your understanding as they work to service all residents and maintain safety for their drivers.
