  1. Annual Meeting

    October 16, 2023

    7:00 pm

The Highland Meadows Home Owner’s Association Annual Meeting will be held Monday, October 16, 2023. We need 37 homes represented, either in person or by proxy, to meet the regular quorum requirements. If you cannot make the meeting, please cast your proxy for quorum and the candidates for Board of Directors using the attached document.

Proxies are used to meet quorum requirements - if quorum is not met, the Annual Meeting must be rescheduled. To reconvene the meeting, would be an additional expense to the Association. Please help us avoid this unnecessary expenditure of your assessments!

    NEW PARADE ROUTE THIS YEAR

Start at 5906 Whitehaven Drive and end at the Woodmoor Drive cul-de-sac. Click here to download and read the 2022 July 4th Parade Route. We’ll end with beverages and pastries for everyone! Get your bicycle, motorcycle, motorized bike, convertible, golf cart and vintage auto and decorate them for our holiday parade. Crowd-friendly pets are welcome, too. Please email our Social Chair, Joanna, if you have any questions. Colleyville Police and Fire will again participate and escort the parade through the neighborhood. We ask all participants to make sure they stay behind the fire trucks, ambulance, and police. This is not only for safety - but it also allows the emergency vehicles an easy exit in case they are needed. If you live along the route and don’t want to walk or ride in it, please come outside to cheer the kiddos along the parade route.

RSVP to Joanna at highlandmeadowssocial@gmail.com if you plan on attending so we have enough pastries and beverages for everyone! (Number of kids and adults, please.)

  13. Open Forum on Hall Johnson Trees

    August 31, 2020

    7:00pm

In an effort to provide accurate information to all homeowners of Highland Meadows, we invite you to attend an open forum to discuss the plans on removing 9 trees along Hall Johnson. We are scheduling this meeting in response to a petition from 5 homeowners on Ballantrae who asked that the trees not be removed; the trees slated for removal are behind some of their properties. The city has agreed to put a hold on the project until they hear back from our HOA.

The HM HOA board wants to give all homeowners the opportunity to share their concerns in regards to the 52 oak trees along our property line on Hall Johnson. It will also allow the board to explain the process of coming up with the removal plan, our work with the city, and the financial impact on homeowners in the HOA.

Some guidelines from the Colleyville Center concerning the current regulations on in-person meetings:

    • Masks are required to enter the building and must remain on in the hall. You may remove your mask if you come to the microphone to speak, but we ask that you put it back on when you return to your seat.
    • Seating will be socially distanced in chairs (at least 6 feet apart)
    • Homeowners may bring their own water or beverage (it will not be provided by the HOA due to serving restrictions that hinder serving beverages.)
    • Seating capacity in the hall is 50% or normal capacity, which is 48 people.

We encourage everyone with concerns to attend the open forum. The board looks forward to getting a better understanding of homeowner’s positions and clarifying any misunderstandings homeowners might have regarding the trees.
